Pučko otvoreno učilište Obris is an adult education institution, registered at the Commercial Court in Slavonski Brod on August 18, 2006. The institution evolved from the eponymous business for intellectual services and expert lectures founded in May 2003 in Požega. Its primary goal has always been to support the residents of Požega-Slavonia, Osijek-Baranja, and Brod-Posavina counties in navigating life situations related to education and employment.
We offer a wide range of educational programs in the fields of healthcare, mechanical engineering, personal services, economics, and agriculture. All programs are approved by the Ministry of Science, Education, and Youth and are officially recorded in the e-employment record book. We pay special attention to an individualized approach for every student, the adaptation of teaching content, and the expertise of our motivated staff who continuously improve their professional competencies.

Development and Cooperation
The institution possesses years of experience in the preparation and implementation of projects funded by European Union funds. Through our professional staff, we have participated in pre-accession assistance programs such as CARDS 2004 (components 2, 3, and 5), Local Employment Partnership projects (Phase 3), and IPA IV: Human Resources Development, including grant schemes such as "Youth in the Labour Market," "Strengthening the Capacity of Adult Education Institutions," and "Strengthening the Capacity of Adult Education Institutions – Phase II."
Today, we continue these activities through programs such as Erasmus+, focusing on international cooperation, the exchange of best practices, and the continuous improvement of teaching processes. Participation in these projects allows us to directly apply modern European standards within our local community, ensuring our students receive high-quality and up-to-date education.
